The facility is expected to create up to 15,000 new jobs, said the Philippines’ special envoy on trade.

Maria Romela Bengzon, honorary investment and trade representative, said in an interview that NCO Clark Philippines Inc. was scheduled to inaugurate the facility this Friday.

President gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will lead the launch, “as NCO committed to this investment during her trip to New York last year,” Bengzon said.

NCO Group, based in Pennsylvania, put up its first call center in Quezon City, which has 150 seats, Bengzon said.
