ePLDT’s Internet-Based Call Center Applications

ePLDT, the information and communications technology arm of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co., launched Wednesday a pre-integrated set of Internet-based call center applications that it said would be easy for startups to install and run according to their needs.

The service, called Unified Contact Center Plus, is used for customer management services in such sectors as telecommunications, tourism and finance, retail and manufacturing, ePLDT said.

ePLDT chief operating officer Helen Marquez said the company was initially offering 1,200 seats, with a 30-percent target growth every year. She said ePLDT’s on-demand system could support up to 10,000 seats.

The service is powered by on-demand technology from CosmoCom, a leader in unified customer communications and on-demand contact center technology. Continue reading
