PCCW and IPCCO Philippines Call Center Partnership
Hong Kong telecom giant PCCW, controlled by businessman Richard Li, said Wednesday it will be the partner in a Philippines call center venture run by IP-Contact Centre Outsourcing Inc (IPCCO).
Based on the agreement, IPCCO will provide call center services in the Philippines to meet the English-language requirements of PCCW clients in other parts of the world.
A PCCW spokeswoman said PCCW will provide licensing and technical expertise for the project which Philippine press reports said could involve an investment by the local company of some 30-40 million dollars over three to four years.
